Many of you have been wondering about the status of the North Square Public Art Project. We apologize for the infrequent updates. Work has been proceeding slowly but surely on our end and at the Square itself where the Boston Public Works Department and Cicconi & Sons have been hard at work. Here is a recent glimpse of the Square if you haven’t seen it lately. Work on the roads and paths around the area of the Square enclosed by the chain will be completed in time for winter. Work on the area within the chain, where the public art will go, will begin in Spring 2019. In all likelihood, the public art installation will now take place in late summer/early fall 2019, not fall 2018 as expected.
The good news is that we have more time to make the public art!
